Mobile game advertises newest update at Pokémon Centers nationwide
As of this summer, Pokémon GO players worldwide finally have access to trading and friendship on the franchise's mobile port. To promote the update, Pokémon Centers in Japan are offering smartphone stickers to let people know who's up for a trade.
The sheet contains three different Pokéball-inspired stickers, with a motif indicating that the wielder of the phones is a trainer and is looking to trade. Players can grab a free sheet by stopping in at their local Pokémon Center and showing their game screen to a staff member. There is a limit of one sheet per customer, while supplies last.
To promote the stickers, a new CM has been released, showing Pokémon GO players trading with family, friends, and coworkers around the world.
There's no word yet on whether the stickers will be made available outside Japan.
