BanG Dream! Teams up with Akai Hane Campaign for Charity

Help fill the Central Community Chest and get adorable limited-edition goods

Want to grab some school idol goods and support a good cause? BanG Dream! has a promotion for that.

The mixed media franchise is teaming up with Japan's Akai Hane ("red feather") to raise funds for the Central Community Chest of Japan. The CCCJ provides welfare to the country's various prefectural community chests. Funds from Akai Hane, a branch of the United Way, have gone toward food banks, shelters for crime victims, free schooling, and support for earthquake evacuees. In 2016, the charity disbursed 15.8 billion yen in grants.

Starting this month, the charity is teaming up with Bushiroad to offer special BanG Dream! goods to supporters of Akai Hane. Lead girls Kasumi and Yukina will be appearing on pins, clear files, and more, as well as posters created to raise interest in the campaign.

Clear files become available this month, with more merch launching in October:
