Twelve Loony Employees Join the Cast of Gaikotsu Shotenin Honda San TV Anime

Adaptation based on Honda's essay manga about life at a busy bookstore hits Japanese TV in October of 2018


A new key visual (above) and more cast members have been revealed for Gaikotsu Shotenin Honda San ("Skeleton Bookstore Clerk Honda-san"), an upcoming TV anime based on the essay manga by Honda about a beleaguered skeleton working his fingers to the bone at a busy Japanese bookstore. The new cast members include:



Yūko Sanpei as Kamibukuro.

Eri Kitamura as Houtai.

Kimiko Saitō as Rantan.

Shizuka Ito as Okitsune.

Aya Endo as Kohmote.



Kazutomi Yamamoto as Rabbithead.



Hiroki Yasumoto as Fullface.



Wataru Hatano as Gasmask.



Toshiki Masuda as Yousetsumask.



Kōtarō Nishiyama as Kendou.



Akemi Okamura as Armar.



And Yōko Hikasa as Pestmask.



The original Gaikotsu Shotenin Honda San manga is serialized on the Pixiv website as part of the Gene Pixiv online magazine, while the manga is published in print by Kadokawa. The Gaikotsu Shotenin Honda San TV anime is directed by Owl Todoroki and feautres animation by DLE. The series will broadcast in Japan on Tokyo MX, BS11, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and J:COM TV beginning in October of 2018.
