New videos show off the stage show based on the hit anime and mobile game
The new Madoka Magica stage show kicks off in Japan tomorrow, and idol group Keyakizaka46 has revealed a few clips of the cast in action.
Based on the mobile game spinoff Magia Record, the show stars ten members of the group, headed by Akari Nibu as Madoka and Memi Kakizaki as game-exclusive character Iroha. The show also features appearances from series favorites Sayaka, Ryoko, Mami, and Homura — as well as game characters Yachiyo, Tsuruno, Sana, and Felicia.

While another posted on the Keyakizaka46 Twitter account shows behind-the-scenes and onstage moments. From the clips, we can see that the series's uniquely styled monsters join the fray via video projection:

The Magia Record stage show kicks off tomorrow and runs until September 9.
