Madoka Magica and Bakemonogatari star joins the Shakespearean shonen series
Dahlia Academy has gained another student. The latest to join Boarding School Juliet is voice actress Eri Kitamura.
Kitamura is recognizable for a variety of roles, from Sayaka Miki in Madoka Magica to Karen Araragi in Bakemonogatari. In Juliet, she takes on the role of White Cats House member Somali Longhaired. Somali is described as very cute when she stays quiet, but when she speaks it becomes apparent that she's "a bit stupid."
Kitamura says she's excited about the role, and will do her best to play Somali with all the grace of a real cat.
Somali's White Cats House also hosts Juliet Persia, while the school's Black Doggy House is home to Juliet's lover and rival from an enemy country, Romio. Boarding School Juliet airs on TOKYO MX starting this October.
