Adaptation based on Spike Chunsoft's video game series kicks off Japanese broadcast on October 09, 2018
The opening and ending theme performers have been revealed for Conception, an upcoming TV anime based on the series of light novel / dating-sim / turn-based combat video games by Spike Chunsoft about a young man who combines his spiritual energy with 12 Zodiac-themed women to create "Star Children" for the sake of saving a fantastical world.
The opening theme, entitled "Star light, Star bright", is performed by nano. The ending theme, entitled "Desires", is performed by Manami Numakura (pictured above). "Desires" will be released in Japan as Numakura's 4th single on October 31, 2018.
The story of Conception follows Itsuki Yuge, an ordinary high school student who is summoned to the magical world of Granvania. In order to return to his own world, Yuge must eliminate the "Impurities" that are causing disorder among the Stars, but the only way to combat the "Impurities" is by teaming up with the 12 "Star Maidens" to create beings of pure energy known as "Star Children".
Conception is directed by Keitarou Motonaga and features animation production by GONZO. The series will broadcast in Japan on Sun TV, BS11, and Tokyo MX beginning on October 09, 2018.
