Houchu Ohtsuka, Kenta Miyake newly join as Biscuit Oliva, Jack Hammer
The official Japanese website for the ongoing TV anime adaptation of the "Most Evil Death Row Convicts" arc of Keisuke Itagaki's long-running action/martial arts manga series Baki is updated with a new key visual for its second cour. Featuring a passionate hug by the protagonist Baki Hanma and the main heroine Kozue Matumoto in the center, the manga's popular scenes are drawn in American comic style. The 26-episode TV anime has been streamed on Netflix for Japanese audience since June 2018.
In addition, two new voice cast are announced. 64-year-old Houchu Ohtsuka (Jiraiya in Naruto) is cast as
Biscuit Oliva, the strongest man in the USA nicknamed "Mr. Unchained," while 41-year-old Kenta Miyake
(Scar in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) voices Jack Hammer, the protagonist Baki's half brother.
PV for the Blu-ray vox vol.1 to be released on November 16.
