Sword Art Online VR: Lovely Honey Days Launches in Japan

Having a picnic with Asuka has never seemed so plausible

We first posted about Sword Art Online VR: Lovely Honey Days back in May, and now its Japanese launch has finally arrived. The iOS and Android app may not drop you straight into the action of the Sword Art Online franchise, but it does let you hang out with Asuna at the beach, hot springs, and even a little tender chow-down picnic.

Interacting with Asuna is the meat of the experience, but you can also take pictures in Relaxation Mode, being sure to capture the expressions and gestures she exclusively shares with Kirito. There's a built-in Chat Mode, as well, and you can play Lovely Honey Days with VR mode disabled if you don't feel like looking buckwild on public transportation.

If you communicate well with Asuna, you can even unlock special poses and scenes.

Aw man, you went and made her mad!
