The official website for Polygon Pictures' three-part anime feature film project inspired by Toho's long-running Godzilla franchise today posted a special collaboration art between its upcoming third chapter Godzilla: Hoshi wo Kuu Mono/The Planet Eater and Sunrise's newest installment of its Gundam anime franchise, Mobile Suit Gundam NT (Narrative).
In addition to the fact that the two will be released in the same month of November 2018, both feature
an important "golden" factor in their stories: the former has the golden kaiju King Ghidorah, while the
latter has the gold-color mobile suit Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex. That made this collaboration possible.
The art featuring Godzilla Earth, King Gidorah, Gundam Narrative, and Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex is
drawn by renowned illustrator Hidetaka Tenjin, who is known for his plamodel box arts of popular anime
series, such as Macross, Gundam, and Evangelion.
Advance ticket with a clear file using this collaboration visual will go on sale at theaters from October 19.
Godzilla: The Planet Eater will be released in Japan on November 9.
Mobile Suit Gundam NT hits Japanese theaters November 30.
