Broadcast to be commemorated with Nico Nico and theatrical showing
The live-action adaptation of Saint Young Men is just around the corner, and you can see more holy antics in the drama's new trailer.
Based on the manga by Hikaru Nakamura, Saint Young Men is a slice-of-life series about Jesus and Buddha sharing a one-room apartment in modern-day Tachikawa. The two deal with modern young-adult problems, as well as the issues that come about from being the figureheads of two major world religions.

The live drama stars Shota Sometani (Shinichi Izumi, Parasyte) as Buddha and Ken'ichi Matsuyama (Krauser, Detroit Metal City) as Jesus.
The drama will also be receiving a run on Nico Nico and the Kyokan Theater app, including greetings from the drama's stars. There will also be a theatrical screening in the story's hometown of Tachikawa starting October 12.
Saint Young Men hits Picoma starting October 18.
