In addition to the announcement for the "Sugoi Sabbath" event to be held on January 20, 2019, the official Twitter for the the TV anime adaptation of Yukiwo's Jashin-chan Dropkick/Dropkick on My Devil! comedy manga said today that its second season will get a green light if its first season's DVD/Blu-ray box sets are sold more than 2,000 units by the time of the event. The anime was aired for 11 episodes from July to September 2018, and the second DVD/Blu-ray box will include its unaired 12th episode.
As of October 13, they have received pre-orders for 813 units. If it reaches its goal of 2,000 units by January 20, the anime's executive producer Koichiro Natsume will officially give a green light for the second season on the stage.
The "Sugoi Sabbath" event will be held in two parts: "Angel's Part" (14:45) and "Devil's Part" (18:15).
Its venue is to be announced later.
The first DVD/Blu-ray box including the first to sixth episodes will be released on October 29, 2018, then
the second box with the seventh to unaired 12th episodes will follow on November 26.
