Shortly after receiving an anime adaptation and a tie-in game, Karakuri Circus will be coming to the stage as a live show.
Based on the 1997 manga by Kazuhiro Fujita, Karakuri Circus stars a boy named Masaru whose inheritance makes him the target of assassins, pulling him into the world of Shirogane and battling Automatons. The anime series began its run last week on TOKYO MX in Japan and worldwide on Amazon.
Taking the role of Masaru is Taiga Fukazawa, best known for his roles in live stage productions of Ensemble Stars!, Ace of Diamond, and Yowamushi Pedal. Appearing alongside him as Narumi Kato will be TeniMyu performer Takikawa Koudai.
Alternating in the role of Shirogane Francine will be Momoka Onishi (AKB48) and Riho Iida (the voice of Rin in Love Live!).
Karakuri Circus will run from January 10-20, 2019 at Shinjuku FACE.
