Nico Nico to Stream 90 Hours of Astro Boy for Tezuka's 90th Birthday

Special guests and other Tezuka works will round out the streaming event

After celebrating the end of August with a scale recreation of Endless Eight, Nico Nico is back with another mega-marathon: celebrating 90 years since Osamu Tezuka's birth with 90 hours of Astro Boy!

The event will be one of several ways the streaming service is planning to celebrate the anniversary of Tezuka's birth. Additionally, Nico Nico will be making use of a talking ATOM robot for comments during the marathon. It will also read aloud audience comments once the viewing is over.

Fans can also look forward to screenings of select episodes of Princess Knight, Dororo, Kimba the White Lion, and Black Jack. Additionally, a special will bring together guests with connections to Tezuka's works for interviews.

The Astro Boy marathon begins Halloween night on Nico Nico at 6pm JST.
