The singer will also join the film's world premiere in Tokyo on November 14
The official Japanese website for Toei Animation's upcoming 20th Dragon Ball film, Dragon Ball Super: Broly, announed today tha 31-year-old singer/dancer Daichi Miura sings its theme song "Blizzard." Because of his distinguished dancing and singing skills, he has been called "Japanese-made Michael Jackson" in Japan.
This is his second anime tie-up song following one of his 16th single songs, "IT'S THE RIGHT TIME," which was used as the ED theme for the 2014 TV anime Parasyte -the maxim-. Miura says, "It is a really happy thing to hear my music used in the anime that I met in my childhood. I believe the song is finished with the quality that can make you feel 'It was good.' when you leave the theater after seeing the film, so you can look forward to it."
Miura is also confirmed to join the film's world premiere screening to be held at Nippon Budokan in
Tokyo on November 14, 2018.
"Blizzard" will be released as Miura's 24th single on December 19, 2018.
