My Hero Academia Live-Action Hollywood Film Planned at Legendary

Alex Garcia and Jay Ashenfelter to oversee the project


It looks like the inevitable is officially in the works. Legendary announced plans to bring the world of Kohei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia manga to the big screen in the form of a live-action Hollywood feature film. 


Information is sparse at the moment, but Alex Garcia and Jay Ashenfelter will be overseeing the project at Legendary, with Ryosuke Yoritomi representing publisher Shueisha and Toho lined up to distribute in Japan.
