Monster Hunter: World Among GotY Contenders at The Game Awards

The festivities kick off on December 6 at 8:30pm Eastern Time


The nominees have been revealed for The Game Awards 2018, which goes live on December 6 at 8:30pm Eastern Time. Some big titles made the cut for the Game of the Year category, including Capcom's Monster Hunter: World, which joins Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Celeste, God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, and Red Dead Redemption 2 in competition.


Other nominees across various categories are Octopath Traveler, Ni no Kuni II, Tetris Effect, Dragon Ball FighterZ, and Mega Man 11. Check out the announcement video below and read on for more on the individual categories.
