Yuichi Fukuda (Gintama)-directed live-action film is also in production
As reported, the 3,704 yen (about 33 US dollars) special edition of the forthcoming seventh volume of Fujita's love comedy manga Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii/Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku will come with a newly-produced 20-minute anime Blu-ray. Publisher Ichijinsha has posted its package illustration drawn by the anime character designer Takahiro Yasuda featuring the episode's two protagonists, Hanako Koyanagi and Taro Kabakura.
The OAD is based on "Youth," one of the manga's popular episodes focusing on Hanako and Taro's high school days. The six main voice cast of the TV anime series are all confirmed to reprise their roles. Along with its 815 yen regular edition, the seventh volume is set to be released in Japan on March 29, 2019.
