The official Japanese website for the TV anime adaptation of Kiri Wazawa's comedy web manga series Fukigen na Mononokean/The Morose Mononokean announced today that its highly-anticipated second season is set to premiere on AT-X on January 5, 2019, then on TOKYO MX and Sun TV on the following day, on BS Fuji two days later. The second season's official Japanese title is Fukigen na Mononokean: Tsuzuki (Continuation).
Prior to the TV premiere, an advance screening event is scheduled to be held at the Screen 1 of United Cinema Aqua City Odaiba in Tokyo at 18:30 on December 9 (JST). The anime's two main voice cast, Yuki Kaji (Hanae Ashiya) and Tomoaki Maeno (Haruitsuki Abeno) who reprise their roles in the new season, will also join the event as special guests. General sale of its 4,000-yen (35.4 US dollars) tickets with three tin badges will begin on December 1.

The first season of the TV anime was aired for 13 episodes from June to September 2016, and has been also
available to Crunchyroll members in the following territories: U.S.A., Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia,
New Zealand, South Africa, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Netherlands, Latin America (Central and
South America including Caribbean), German and French speaking Europe.
