Project No.9 (The Ryuo's Work is Never Done!)-animated comedy is set to premiere on January 7, 2019
The official website for the forthcoming TV anime adaptation of FuRyu's smartphone RPG Pastel Memories has posted a 90-second second PV featuring its OP theme song "Believe in Sky" performed by 41-year-old voice actress/singer Asami Imai (Chihaya Kisaragi in The [email protected], Kurisu Makise in Steins;Gate). She made her solo singer debut in 2009 and celebrates the 10th anniversary for her singer activities. "Believe in Sky" will be released as her 20th single on January 30, 2019.
The game started its service in Japan in October 2017. The story is set in the future year 20XX, when the otaku culture in the town of Akihabara, which was once called "the holy land of otaku", has declined. A group of girls with otaku-related skills gather at one of the few remaining otaku shops and fight against viruses invading various fantastical worlds in order to restore the lost memories stolen from the people's minds.
The TV anime is set to premiere on TOKYO MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and BS Fuji on January 7, 2019.
Project No.9 (Angel's 3Piece!, The Ryuo's Work is Never Done!) works on anime production and all voice
cast from the game reprise their roles in the anime as well.
