DJs Square Off for Music Battles in Original TV Anime "W'z"

Japanese broadcast schedule revealed for new project from the makers of "Hand Shakers"

The official Japanese TV schedule has been revealed for W'z (pronounced "Wiz"), an upcoming original TV anime about a young man who dreams of being a DJ. W'z will broadcast in Japan as follows:

  • MBS (Mainichi Broadcasting System): every Saturday during the 26:38 time slot beginning on January 05, 2019.
  • Tokyo MX: every Saturday during the 25:30 time slot beginning on January 05, 2019.
  • TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting: every Saturday during the 26:30 time slot beginning on January 05, 2019.
  • BS11: every Sunday during the 25:00 time slot beginning on January 06, 2019.

Please note that some Japanese TV schedules count early-morning programming as late-night programming of the previous day, so for example the 25:00 time slot on Sunday evening is actually on Monday morning at 1:00 AM JST.

W'z features music by GOON TRAX and original work by GoHands x FrontierWorks (Hand Shakers). The story follows Yukiya Araki, a 14 year old boy who grew up listening to house music and who longs to be a DJ in order to express himself through the art of music.
