Idol Anime Kiratto Pri☆Chan to Continue with Its 2nd Season from April 2019

The "Pretty" series will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2020

The official website for Kiratto Pri☆Chan, the ongoing TV anime series based on Takara Tommy Arts and syn Sophia's "Pretty" arcade game franchise, announced on December 9 that it will get its second season from April 2019 and teased an appearance of a new idol character with her silhouette image. Further details will be revealed in January.

 

The anime's official Twitter has also posted images of the three members of Miracle Kiratts in their new group coordinate, along with the new idol character's mysterious silhouette.

 

As the sixth installment of the Pretty TV anime series, Kiratto Pri☆Chan premiered on TV Tokyo and its

affiliates in Japan in April 2018. It is set in a world where girls can be "Pri☆Chan Idol" by producing their

own streaming channels using "Pri☆Chan System." Its story has mainly followed the rivalry between two

girls units: Miracle Kiratts (Mirai Momoyama, Emo Moegi, Rinka Aoba) and Meltic Star (Annan Akagi, Sara

Midorikawa, Mel Shido).
