BanG Dream! Celebrates Second Season with New Key Visuals

Mixed media project combining anime and musical performances returns to Japanese TV in January

 

Anime / music mixed media project BanG Dream! is returning to Japanese airwaves soon, and to celebrate the series is rocking out with a set of new key visuals for each of the main bands. The new key visuals include the following bands:

  • Tokyo MX: every Thursday during the 23:00 time slot beginning on January 03, 2019. 
  • BS11: every Thursday during the 23:30 time slot beginning on January 03, 2019.
  • KBS Kyoto: every Thursday during the 23:00 time slot beginning on January 03, 2019.
  • Sun TV: every Thursday during the 24:00 time slot beginning on January 03, 2019.
  • Television Kanagawa: every Thursday during the 25:00 time slot beginning on January 03, 2019.
  • Niigata Sogo Television: every Thursday during the 26:15 time slot beginning on January 03, 2019.
  • AT-X: every Thursday during the 23:30 time slot beginning on January 03, 2019.
  • Aomori Broadcasting Corporation: every Friday during the 25:56 time slot beginning on January 04, 2019.
  • Shizuoka Asahi Television: every Monday during the 25:50 time slot beginning on January 07, 2019.
  • TV Aichi: every Tuesday during the 25:35 time slot beginning on January 08, 2019.

 

Please note that some Japanese broadcast schedules count early-morning programming as late-night programming of the previous day, so for example the 25:35 time slot on Tuesday evening is actually on Wednesday morning at 1:35 AM JST.

 

 

BanG Dream! 2nd Season is directed by Kôdai Kakimoto and features animation production by Sanzigen. Crunchyroll currenty streams the first season of BanG Dream!, and describes the story as follows:


When she was a child, Kasumi Toyama felt a heart-pounding thrill every time she gazed at the stars, and she's been looking without success for something that could inspire the same feeling ever since. One day, she comes across a star-shaped guitar in a rundown pawnshop and, for the first time, discovers the thrill she's been searching for. Kasumi becomes determined to form an all-girl band, and her search leads her to four like-minded souls: Saya, Arisa, Rimi, and Tae. Does this band have what it takes to make their dreams of stardom come true?
