Run Girls, Run! Films Girly Air Force OP Song MV at Japan Air Self-Defense Force Base

Their 4th single "Break the Blue!!" hits the stores February 6, 2019

As a New Year's gift for fans, three-member voice actress idol unit Run Girls, Run! released a two-minute music video for "Break the Blue!!," the OP theme song for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Koji Natsumi's sci-fi light novel Girly Air Force. With full cooperation with Japan Air Self-Defense Force, the clip was filmed at its Komatsu base in Ishikawa Prefecture, which inspires the Komatsu base appears in the anime story.


The fighter behind the members is Mitsubishi F-15J/DJ Eagle. The Air SDF owns 200 F-15 fighters in its eight squadrons and several tactical fighter training groups across Japan. 


"Break the Blue!!" is scheduled to be released as Run Girls, Run!'s fourth single on February 6, 2019. The unit's 21-year-old member Yuuka Morishima (Meru Shido in Kiratto☆PriChan) is also cast as the main heroine Gripen.

Katsumi Ono (Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V)-directed TV anime Girly Air Force will premiere

on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, BS11, AT-X, and Abema TV on January 10, 2019.
