Love Live! Sunshine!! Movie's New PV Introduces More Highlight Scenes
The 100-minute film has kept its 8th place for two consecutive weeks

Ahead of its third weekend, the Love Live! franchise's official YouTube channel has started streaming
a 110-second new PV to introduce more highlight scenes from the all-new feature film Love Live! Sunshine!!

The 100-minute sequel to the two TV anime series in 2016 and 2017 was released in 128 theaters
across Japan on January 4, and ranked eighth place in its opening weekend, then kept the same position
in its second weekend. According to Box Office Mojo, it earned 100,569,107 yen (912,026 US dollars) in
its first weekend, which was only 25% of the first weekend gross of the franchise's first feature film Love
Live! The School Idol Movie released in 121 theaters in June 2015.
The 2015 film made 400,235,800 yen in its opening weekend, and its total domestic gross finally reached
an impressive 2.86 billion yen, becoming the eighth top-grossing Japanese film of the year.
