Disgaea's Smartphone Version is Now Called Disgaea RPG

Pre-registration goes live in Japan

While there's still no concrete release date in place, Nippon Ichi Software and ForwardWorks have given the smartphone version of Disgaea an official title. Disgaea RPG will be a free-to-play game with micro-transactions, and pre-registration is now open in Japan via the official website.

Pre-registered players will receive the three-star Fallen Angel Flonne as a gift at launch if 20,000 people pre-register for Disgaea RPG, which features a command-based battle system optimized for mobile devices. This is still Disgaea, of course, so you can look forward to plenty of familiar characters from the series, as well as the potential to raise your party members to level 9,999 and inflict billions of points in damage.
