My Hero Academia Author Becomes First Foreigner to Win Korean Comic Award

Kohei Horikoshi was given the 2018 Manga Creator Award by Seoul Media Comics

 

My Hero Academia creator Kohei Horikoshi was given a great honor this week thanks to recognition from Seoul Media Comics. The South Korean company awarded Horikoshi with the 2018 Manga Creator Award, marking the first time a creator outside of Korea has won. 

 

The official My Hero Academia Twitter account shared photos of the award, including the gold key prize.
