Anime Fans Choose the Heisei Era's Best Girl

The end of Japan's Heisei Era is in view, but there's one important thing we still haven't done: chosen the era's Best Girl!

 

Japanese ranking site goo Ranking put the question to their users, asking them to vote for the best Heisei anime girl. Specifically, users were asked to vote for their favorite "strong, beautiful heroines."

 

So who made the cut? Here's the Top 10:

Showing up in the top 20 were Motoko Kusanagi (Ghost in the Shell), Nagisa Misumi/Cure Black (Pretty Cure), Nanoha Takamachi (Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha), and Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade (Kizumonogatari).
