Attack on Titan Season 3 Part 2 Premieres in Japan on April 28

Pony Canyon shares an updated version of the latest trailer

Earlier this month we shared a new trailer for Attack on Titan season 3 part 2, which is set to debut this April. Pony Canyon recently posted an updated version of the latest preview, narrowing that window to an April 28 premiere date in Japan. The first episode is scheduled for 24:10, so it's technically dipping into the wee hours of April 29.

Attack on Titan Season 3 is directed by Tetsurō Araki and Masashi Koizuka and features animation production by Wit Studio. The series will continue broadcasting on the NHK network in April of 2019. Crunchyroll currently streams the earlier seasons of Attack on Titan, and describes the story as follows:

Known in Japan as Shingeki no Kyojin, many years ago, the last remnants of humanity were forced to retreat behind the towering walls of a fortified city to escape the massive, man-eating Titans that roamed the land outside their fortress. Only the heroic members of the Scouting Legion dared to stray beyond the safety of the walls – but even those brave warriors seldom returned alive. Those within the city clung to the illusion of a peaceful existence until the day that dream was shattered, and their slim chance at survival was reduced to one horrifying choice: kill – or be devoured!
