Tabemasu Doraemon line returns with new wagashi mascots
Adorable, edible Doraemons are back on the menu, and they'll be on sale at Lawson.
The Tabemasu ("Table Mascot"/a pun on tabemasu, "to eat") line is no stranger to the Doraemon franchise, having released a trio of snacks back in 2016. The new items see the return of the smiling Doraemon wagashi, along with a heart-eyed Doraemon bearing a love letter.
These mochi snacks use custard and strawberry fillings; other Tabemasu offerings use fillings like milk and red bean, and are modeled after Disney and Sanrio characters.
Lawson stores in Japan will be carrying the new Tabemasu Doraemon treats starting February 26.
