The sci-fi action series has received two TV anime adaptations in 2015 and 2017
A stage play adaptation of Yasuhiro Nightow's sci-fi action manga Kekkai Sensen/Blood Blockade Battlefront is set to be performed in Japan this fall. The news was officially announced on the wrap-around band for the its second season Back 2 Back's latest sixth volume released on March 4. It says, "Hellsalem's Lot will descend on the real world."
No other details including cast and staff are currently available. And the manga author has posted no comment on his official Twitter so far.
The manga's first season released 10 tankobon volumes from 2010 to 2015. And its second season Blockade Battlefront: Back 2 Back is now serialized in Shueisha's Jump SQ.RISE and has released six tankobon volumes. It was adapted into TV anime twice by BONES: 12-episode first season (April-October 2015) and the 12-episode second season Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond (October-
December 2017). Both seasons are available on Crunchyroll.
