Isekai Quartet Anime is Too Cool for School on April 09, 2019

Key visual, trailer, theme song information, and TV schedule revealed for upcoming parallel worlds fantasy mash-up

 

A new trailer, a new key visual, the theme song performers, and the Japanese TV schedule have been revealed for Isekai Quartet, an upcoming puchi-chara anime that takes characters from four popular isekai fantasy light novel series (OverlordKONOSUBA -God's blessing on this wonderful world!Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-and Saga of Tanya the Evil) and throws them all together in a high school setting.

 

 

The opening theme for the series, entitled "Isekai Quartet", is performed in-character by Ainz (CV: Satoshi Hino), Kazuma (CV: Jun Fukushima), Subaru (CV: Yūsuke Kobayashi), and Tanya (CV: Aoi Yūki). The ending theme, entitled "Isekai Girls? Talk", is performed in-character by Albedo (CV: Yumi Hara), Aqua (CV: Sora Amamiya), Emilia (CV: Rie Takahashi), and Tanya (CV: Aoi Yūki).

 

 

The story of Isekai Quartet revolves around a mysterious button that, when pressed, transports characters from four different light novel series to a high school setting in a parallel world, allowing them to interact with one another. Isekai Quartet is written and directed by Minoru Ashina and features animation by Studio Puyukai. The series will broadcast in Japan according to the following TV schedule:


  • Tokyo MX: every Tuesday during the 24:30 time slot beginning on April 09, 2019.
  • MBS (Mainichi Broadcasting System): every Tuesday during the 27:00 time slot beginning on April 09, 2019.
  • BS11: every Wednesday during the 24:00 time slot beginning on April 10, 2019.
  • AT-X: every Wednesday during the 21:30 time slot beginning on April 10, 2019.
  • TV Aichi: every Thursday during the 26:05 time slot beginning on April 11, 2019.

 

 

Please note that some Japanese TV schedules count early-morning programming as late-night programming of the previous day, so for example the 27:00 time slot on Tuesday evening is actually on Wednesday morning at 3:00 AM JST.
