Eva Characters Reunite in Yoko Takahashi's "EVANGELION EXTREME" Album Jacket

Her newly-recorded song "Akaki Tsuki" will be also included in the mini album

King Amusement Creative's official website posted a CD jacket illustration for 52-year-old singer Yoko Takahashi's upcoming mini album "EVANGELION EXTREME" to be released on May 22. The illustration is newly drawn by Yoshimichi Kameda, one of the animators who worked on Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo (2012).

The mini album contains theme songs for the pachinko/pachislot games based on the Evangelion anime franchise, such as "Zankoku na Tenshi no Teeze (A Cruel Angel's Thesis) 2009 VERSION" (May 13, 2009 release/"CR Neon Genesis Evangelion ~Saigo no Shisha"), "Doukoku he no Monologue" (April 28, 2010 release/pachislot "Neon Genesis Evangelion ~Tamashii no Kiseki~"), and "Shibashi Sora ni Inorite" (March 27, 2013 release/pachislot "EVANGELION ART").

In addition, Takahashi's newly recorded song "Akaki Tsuki" (Red Moon) is also included. It is written

by Takahashi herself, and composed/arranged by "A Cruel Angel's Thesis" arranger and "Soul's Refrain"

composer/arranger Toshiyuki Omori.
