Puchi-chara mash-up of four popular "parallel worlds" series hits Japanese airwaves on April 09, 2019
Conquering the world is tough enough, but conquering high school may be even tougher, especially when your class is a mash-up of four different "parallel world" fantasy light novel series, and such is the case in the new trailer for Isekai Quartet, an upcoming puchi-chara TV anime that blends Overlord, KONOSUBA -God's blessing on this wonderful world!, Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-, and Saga of Tanya the Evil.
The story of Isekai Quartet revolves around a mysterious button that, when pressed, transports characters from four different light novel series to a high school setting in a parallel world, allowing them to interact with one another. Isekai Quartet is written and directed by Minoru Ashina and features animation by Studio Puyukai.
Isekai Quartet will broadcast in Japan on Tokyo MX and Mainichi Broadcasting System beginning on April 09, 2019, with additional broadcasts to follow later on BS11, AT-X, and TV Aichi.
