Just in time for Anime Japan 2019, a new key visual (below) has been revealed for Seishun Buta Yarou wa Yumemiru Shoujo no Yume o Minai ("Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl"), an upcoming theatrical anime film that adapts the sixth and seventh volumes of Seishun Buta Yarou, a light novel series written by Hajime Kamoshida and illustrated by Keeji Mizoguchi about the weirdness of being a teen.
The story of the Seishun Buta Yarou wa Yumemiru Shoujo no Yume o Minai film follows the daily life of Sakuta Azusagawa, whose relationship with Mai Sakurajima is on the rocks after circumstances force him to live with the "adult" version of Shoko Makinohara. Meanwhile, the "junior high school" version of Shoko is suffering from a mysterious illness, and Sakuta's scars begin to ache...

She turns out to be an actress on hiatus, Mai Sakurajima, who is also his senior at the school. For some reason, no one else can see this enchanting girl. How did she become invisible…?
