Evangelion Bar and Café Makes Second Impact on Tokyo

Check out the pop-up restaurant with a lot of NERV

The Neon Genesis Evangelion bar and café is preparing to open its doors again, this time bringing with it more menu items for returning diners!

The pop-up functions like a traditional Japanese tavern, with warm lighting and decor and menu prices more in line with similar establishments. Bar fare like edamame and pickled everything is available, alongside themed drinks and entrees.

Choose from pasta dishes like a Rei Ayanami-inspired plate, squid ink Angel pasta, and Pasta Asuka-tore:

You can also try Second Impact chicken kimchee, or test your courage with "I Mustn't Run Away" Super Spicy Tofu Stew:

Get a side of picked EVA-01 head, Kaji's edamame, or Angel shrimp shumai:

And celebrate your victory over adolescense and existential crisis with a "Congratulations!" cake:

There's a wide variety of bar items, too, including the Misato & Kaji Mojito and a non-alcoholic EVA-01 drink... and yes, they do serve LCL:

Patrons can pick up goodies at the shop featuring the hard-drinking Misato, including a sticker sheet and a clear file:

The restaurant opens for a limited time on April 20.
