Pop Star Aimyon Gets an Animated Cameo in Crayon Shin-Chan Movie

Theme singer is off on an Australian adventure

Singer/songwriter Aimyon was thrilled to be chosen as a theme writer for the new Crayon Shin-chan movie — so we can't imagine how happy she is to be getting a cameo in the film!

Aimyon, who has said she's probably the biggest Crayon Shin-chan fan she knows among her peers, signed on recently to compose and perform a theme for this spring's film. Honeymoon Hurricane ~The Lost Hiroshi~ will follow Shinnosuke as he tries to find his father, who's become lost in Australia during the Noharas' second honeymoon.

It hasn't been specified where or when Aimyon will appear in the film, but her character design has been revealed. She can be seen wearing a shirt with a special logo that combines part of her name — "AIM" — with a koala motif.

Aimyon will also appear in the upcoming series of LINE stamps modeled after the film:

Her theme for the film, "Harunohi," will be debuted on the film's official Twitter on April 10, the same day the LINE stamps become available.

Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Honeymoon Hurricane ~The Lost Hiroshi~ debuts in Japan on April 19.
