2264 page magazine contains the first chapters of 44 different titles serialized in "Shonen Jump" and "Shonen Magazine"
In shonen manga, nothing is cooler than when a deadly rivalry transforms into an uneasy friendship, and Japanese publishing giants Shueisha and Kodansha are making this story trope a reality with a mammoth, commemorative issue of Shonen Jump / Magazine, a 2264 page magazine that features the first chapters of 44 manga series serialized in the rival publications of Weekly Shonen Jump and Weekly Shonen Magazine.
If you're wondering how you can get your hands on a copy of this 13 centimeter (5.1 inch) thick monstrosity, well, it's not that simple. Only three copies of Shonen Jump / Magazine are being printed, and these bullet-stopping issues are being given away as prizes for the "Book Report Contest" that is being held on the "Shonen Jump / Magazine Gakuen" website, a school-themed site geared toward introducing new readers to Jump and Magazine titles.
Still, it'd be cool to have one of these on your coffee table, wouldn't it?
