Detective Pikachu Offers Looks at Art Book, Ryan Reynolds's Morning Routine

Detective Pikachu is coming to theaters in the US next week, and there will be lots of clues to uncover! But first, Nintendo and Ryan Reynolds are offering some (spoiler-free!) looks behind-the-scenes.


First up, the official Pokémon Twitter has announced that a Detective Pikachu art book is incoming, featuring trivia, film stills, and close-up imagery of the set. You can check out the whole thread for teasers, but here are a few that caught our eye:



Meanwhile, Detective Pikachu himself is giving us some tips on how to get ourselves ready for a day of sleuthing. His new "get ready with me"-style video features his special technique for looking the part, which—fair warning—does require having a major Hollywood studio at your disposal.



Pokémon: Detective Pikachu has already made a splash in Japan, and will be premiering Stateside May 9.
