Code Vein Game's Closed Network Test Scheduled for Later This Month

Try out the God Eater team's long-awaited action game

It feels like it's been forever since we had a substantial update about Code Vein, the dark post-apocalyptic action game from the God Eater team. It's still just listed for "later in 2019," but eager players will have a chance to try it out in a closed network test scheduled for Xbox One and PS4 later this month.

Bandai Namco announced the test earlier today, promising the ability to create your own character, play through the game's opening segment, and test out an online co-op dungeon. Registration is currently available, with additional details regarding specific times and dates to follow.

More from the press release:

Venture into the land of CODE VEIN and uncover its secrets. Players will be able to craft their own unique character and customize their experience by equipping numerous weapons, items, Skills, and Gifts to accommodate their favorite combat style or gain a competitive advantage against impossible odds. Various A.I. controlled partners will also be on-hand to explore the interconnected world with their own specialized attributes and personalities.

Code Vein is currently in the works for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
