Fuka Koshiba stars in adaptation based on LINE comic by Teikoku Inka
Everyone knows that if you're bitten by a rapper, you become a rapper, and now a two-part live-action TV drama inspired by Teikoku Inka's LINE manga Rapper ni Kamaretara Rapper ni Naru Manga (localized as "Da rapper bites and becomes a rapper") is heading to TV Asahi in July to further illustrate this point.
Described as a "rap battle survival horror" story, Rapper ni Kamaretara Rapper ni Naru Manga is set in the year 20XX, when a mysterious virus sweeps the nation of Japan, transforming anyone infected by it into rapper and turning Japan into a "club house from Hell". Set against the backdrop of this rapper apocalypse, Minori Inaho and her father, a pair of bumpkins from the countryside, search for Minori's missing brother.
The Rapper ni Kamaretara Rapper ni Naru TV drama is directed by Keisuke Toyoshima and features a script by Ryohei Watanabe. The series stars Fuka Koshiba as Minori Inaho. The two-part Rapper ni Kamaretara Rapper ni Naru TV drama will broadcast on TV Asahi during the 23:15 time slot (11:15 PM JST) on Friday, July 12 and Saturday, July 13, 2019.
