ONE PIECE STAMPEDE Announces Additional Voice Cast: Naoto Takenaka, Ron Monroe, YouTuber Unit Fischer's

The 14th feature film hits Japanese theaters August 9, 2019



The official website for ONE PIECE STAMPEDE, the 14th feature film to celebrate the One Piece anime

series' 20th anniversary, announced its additional voice cast: 63-year-old Japanese actor Naoto

Takenaka, 24-year-old Chinese fashion model/singer Ron Monroe, and seven-member YouTuber unit



This is the third time for Takenaka, known as Shigeki Arakawa in Patlabor 2: The Movie (1993) and Kim

in Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence (2004), to voice for the One Piece films, following ONE PIECE FILM

STRONG WORLD (2009/as Shiki the Golden Lion) and ONE PIECE FILM GOLD (2014/as Double Down

& Whitejack). His new role in STAMPEDE has not been revealed yet.


As her first anime character role, Ron Monroe voices one of the marine soldiers, while the members of

Fisher's play the "Fisher's Pirate" characters inspired by themselves. Their voice recording session will

be reported on their official YouTube channel soon. 


ONE PIECE STAMPEDE will be released in Japan on August 9, 2019.
