Tokyo Ghoul Live-Action Film Sequel's New Trailer Introduces Theme Song "Introduction" by Ziyoou-vachi

Much-anticipated second film will hit Japanese theaters July 19, 2019


At the premiere held at Ebisu Garden Place in Tokyo on Tuesday, a 90-second new trailer for Tokyo Ghoul 【S】, the forthcoming second live-action film based on Sui Ishida's dark fantasy manga series Tokyo Ghoul, was screened. The clip introduced the film's theme song "Introduction" performed by four-member Japanese rock band Ziyoou-vachi/QUEEN BEE. The song was already included in the band's sixth album "Juu" (means ten) released in Japan on May 22, 2019.


This is the second time for the band to provide a theme song for the Tokyo Ghoul franchise, following their third single song "HALF" (April 25, 2018 release)  that was featured as the ED theme for the 2018 TV anime Tokyo Ghoul:re


The much-anticipated sequel Tokyo Ghoul 【S】is set to be released in Japan on July 19, 2019.
