Madoka and Nanoha Face off in Smartphone Game Collaboration

Two of anime's most powerful magical girls are finally going toe-to-toe in Magia Record

It's a team-up for the ages: Nanoha Takamachi and Madoka Kaname!

The dream collaboration is coming to mobile game Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story: Magica Record in Japan starting next week. As part of a crossover with the film Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Detonation, players can add Hayate Yagami to their team and play through a Nanoha-inspired storyline where the two magical girl teams meet up. Plus, Nanoha herself will be available in the gacha pool, along with two related Memoria cards:

Looking for Fate T. Harlaown? Don't worry: this is just phase 1 of the collaboration. Phase 2 will include Fate in the gacha pool, plus two more Memoria cards. Art for all three will be revealed at a later date, but you can get a look at how some of the Nanoha-side characters will look in your party.

Frankly, we're lookig forward to seeing their Doppels.

Magia Clash! kicks off June 17 and runs until July 1, with Fate joining the gacha pool on June 24. It'll still be some time 'til US players get to see it, but fortunately Magia Record will be kicking off its Western server on June 25.
