GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE Members Transform Into Anime Characters in Ride Your Wave Theme Song MV
24-year-old member Ryota Katayose makes his voice actor debut
On the same day with the theatrical release of Masaaki Yuasa (Lu over the Wall, Devilman Crybaby)'s latest anime feature film Kimi to Nami ni Noretara/Ride Your Wave, a three-minute anime music video for its theme song "Brand New Story" performed by GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE is posted on avex's official YouTube channel.
The clip is produced by SCIENCE SARU, the film's production company, and tells a sequels story to the film. In addition to the film's heroine Hinako Mukaimizu, GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE's seven members also appear as anime characters to enjoy summer time.
"Brand New Story" is their first theme song work for a feature anime film, and its 24-year-old member Ryota Katayose makes his voice actor debut as the film's male protagonist Minato Hinageshi.
The song is set to be released as the unit's 18th single on July 17, 2019.
