Midnight occult civil servants Anime Gets Two-Episode OVA in October

Liden Films-produced TV series is now streamed on Crunchyroll


Soon after the broadcast of its final 12th episode in Japan, the official website for the TV anime adaptation of Yohko Tamotsu's modern fantasy manga Mayonaka no Occult Koumuin/Midnight occult civil servants announced that a two-episode OVA (Original Video Animation) is set to be released in DVD/Blu-ray on October 25, 2019.


The story of the OVA episodes is based on the "Hitoribocchi no Kyuketsuki" (A Lonley Vampire) arc featuring Seo Himetsuka, which is included in the manga's sixth and seventh tankobon volumes.


One month prior to the DVD/Blu-ray release, the two episodes will be streamed exclusively on NTT Plala's web streaming service Hikari TV in Japan at 12:00 pm on September 25 (JST).

The TV anime adaptation produced by Liden Films was aired for 12 episodes in Japan from April 8 to June 24, 2019. All of the episodes are now available on Crunchyroll to its members in North America, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Latin America.
