Crunchyroll Explores a Magical World with GRANBELM TV Anime

Original mecha series from the director of "Re:ZERO" joins the Summer 2019 simulcast season

We've got some exciting news for all you fans of moe and mecha out there: GRANBELM, an original TV anime from Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- director Masahiru Watanabe and animation studio Nexus, is coming to Crunchyroll as part of the Summer 2019 streaming simulcast lineup! Synopsis: 

 

The destiny of the full moon--
The wheels of fate start spinning on the night of the new moon.

It had been nearly 1,000 years since all the magic in the world disappeared, and most people had forgotten it ever existed at all. Kohinata Mangetsu is a cheerful high school student who has a pretty positive outlook on life, but there was some doubt in her heart. 
She has nothing to call her own--
Because she wasn't good at academics or sports, she dreamed of having something she was actually good at.

On a night where the full moon was shining brightly, she happens to meet another girl who also has the character for "moon" in her name named Shingetsu Ernesta Hukami. That was also when she encountered the mechanical dolls called "ARMANOX." The wheels of fate of the full moon start to spin slowly...
