Crunchyroll to Simulcast A Destructive God Sits Next to Me Anime

Crunchyroll co-production is coming in Winter 2020

Yesterday the A Destructive God Sits Next to Me anime—which adapts the Kadokawa school comedy manga by Arata Aki—shared a new key visual and seasonal timing. Now, in an announcement straight out of Japan Expo 2019, the show has been revealed as a Crunchyroll co-production.


Crunchyroll will simulcast the series as part of its Winter 2020 lineup. Atsushi Nigorikawa (Love Tyrant) directs, with Natsuko Takahashi (Moyashimon) on series composition, Yuuki Nakano on character designs, and Kanako Hara on music.


A Destructive God Sits Next to Me is being produced over at anime studio EMT ², which previously handled production on The Master of Ragnarok & Blesser of Einherjar, URAHARA, Rainy Cocoa, and more.
