L.A. Dodgers Fans Get a Colossal Treat with Visit from Attack on Titan Mascot

Titan-kun showed up to throw out the first pitch at the opening ceremonies for a game versus the San Diego Padres

Titan-kun throws out the ceremonial first pitch at the L.A. Dodgers vs. the San Diego Padres game at Dodger Stadium on July 05, 2019.

On July 05, 2019, at the baseball game between the L.A. Dodgers and the San Diego Padres at Dodger Stadium, humanity received a grim reminder when the Colossal Titan from Attack on Titan (nicknamed "Titan-kun" here) showed up during opening ceremonies to throw out the first pitch.

In addition to showing off his fastball and his custom Attack on Titan baseball glove, Titan-kun got to hang out and take photos with Kenta Maeda, a Japanese baseball player who pitches for the L.A. Dodgers. Maeda even showed Titan-kun how to perform his signature "Maeken Calisthenics" prior to the game.

I was going to make a joke about the New York Giants, but that's a football team. Sports are not my strong point. I wonder what the non-anime fans thought of the opening ceremonies shenanigans?
