Cells at Work! Stage Play to Return This Fall with New Cast Members
Advance sales of the tickets will begin on July 31

Following the very successful first run last fall, Aniplex has confirmed that the stage play adaptation of Akane Shimizu's Hataraku Saibou/Cells at Work! manga will return this fall with a new story and new cast members.
The first run featuring Red Blood Cell portrayed by Kanon Nanaki and White Blood Cell by Masanari Wada was performed at Theater 1010 in Tokyo from November 16 to 25, 2018, and its tickets were immediately sold out.
In the upcoming second show, Umino Kawamura (23/Ami Mizuno & Sailor Mercury in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon The Super Live) and Ryo Kitamura (28/Ichimatsu Matsuno in the Osomatsu-san stage plays) are newly cast as Red Blood Cell and White Blood Cell, respectively. The poster visual below also introduces Yuuki Kimisawa (34), who reprises his role as Killer T Cell, along with Taishi Sugie (27) as General Cell.
The second show is set to be performed at Theater 1010 in Tokyo from September 27 to October 6, 2019. Instead of the first's Tsuyoshi Kida, Keita Kawajiri, who provided the script for the first, is newly attached to both write and direct. Advance sales of the tickets will begin on July 31 at 12:00 (JST).
