Cosplayers Hit the Streets for Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Fest 2019

Last year's festivities featured over 20,000 cosplayers and 105,000 visitors

Cosplayers, photographers, and onlookers from all over the world are preparing to descend on the streets of Ikebukuro in Toshima Ward, Tokyo, Japan for the 6th annual "Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Fest", a two day event full of cosplay-themed festivities on October 26 - 27, 2019.



In addition to parades, runway events, photoshoot spots, and more, "Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Fest 2019" also features night time programming such as live DJ performances and tie-ins with local restaurants. "Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Fest 2019" is free for viewers to attend, although photographers and cosplayers much register in advance. Photo / cosplay registration costs 2000 yen ($18.40 US) including tax.
